ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE
1)
In 2013-2014 ESN signed 8 long-term partnerships with non-governmental organizations from Higher Education &
Disability sector to support ExchangeAbility & its MapAbility. These partnership collaborations boosted to foster the
mobility and led the project in the last 1-3 yrs. to 4.000 Facebook likes, 700 Twitter followers, and 5.000 movie
views increase.

Until July of 2015, there have been 826 Buildings information on accessibility of Higher Education Institutions & 248
of support services for persons with disabilities at Higher Education Institutions submitted on the MapAbility
platform.
3)
In the last 3 years, the project was presented at 50 external high-level conferences. At the ExchangeAbility training,
3 trainers - 2 with and 1 without a disability trained 40 students with/without disabilities & 1 external stakeholder
from EDF participated. 40 students & 20 external stakeholders participated from Higher Education and Disability
Sector at the ExchangeAbility Conference in 2014.

UTLOOK
The ESN capacity building strategy for such project is based on the values such as volunteerism, autonomy,
independence, participation, solidarity and inclusiveness. It aims at ensuring the further development and sustainability
of ESN and at providing participants with the knowledge, skills, competences and the space to develop their attitudes
and at the same time through a rewarding system to keep participants’ motivation alive.
