VERALL GOAL

MISSION

The overall goal of the project is to implement a practice based on the observation of children, ranging from 3-6 years

old. The ultimate goal is to implement an observation tool organized in seven areas of learning and to identify

developmental risk indicators.

HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED

The solution is addressed to children, teachers, social services, entities, and parents.

The project is aimed to identify early stages of critical developmental signs with the consequential and quickly react with

prompt responses to face, orient and promote an inclusive education. It is also a way to assist teachers in learning and

reinforce their observatory skills, through a specific Observation tool made for the purpose. The project is also designed

for social services and entities responsible for disadvantaged children. It is also a way for parents to share information

relative to their children’s growth process by helping them recognize their children’s limitations and possibilities to

develop.

ACTS ABOUT SIZE AND SCOPE

Children with disabilities are the main target of the project;

Using “Work Tool Boxes” as a form of inclusive educational instruments. These inclusive educational "ad hoc" tools

require low linguistic intervention approach towards the promotion of developmental and learning paths offering

valid responses in emergency contexts with limited resources and infrastructure;

36 schools in the area have benefited from the training;

100 kindergarten and primary school teachers participated in the training in 2014/2015

- 200 students benefited from the project achieving early identification of risk indicators of development and the

subsequent commencement of the inclusive curriculum
