VERALL GOAL
/
MISSION
The principle guiding this project is the pedagogical principle of education with equality and respect for diversity. The
project has as its purpose to enable every student to achieve the highest possible degree of expertise in various fields
such as life skills and to live with the greatest possible degree of autonomy.
It is aimed specifically at pupils in compulsory education with autism spectrum disorders to severe mental impairments
combined with problems of aggression and self-harm.
The learning goals relate to the achievement of personal skills, behavioural and social skills, and the methods of
teaching and learning that are based on direct inclusion experiences such as participating in public spaces and learning
how to tolerate waiting times and stand the presence of other people
.
The role of the teachers and students in this project is to create connections with the society and improve the
communications between services, school and families of the children. The teachers are also mediating between the
children with autism and their peers to encourage relations also beyond the school environment.
