Learning for Life and providing affordable training and study materials to build the capacity and develop the skills of
community workers, caregivers, therapists, nurses, teachers, class assistants, project supervisors and non-government
organisation staff.
T
HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED
LfL seeks to address these disparities by providing quality, customized, affordable and accessible training to service
providers, including community workers, medical personnel, educators, care workers, caregivers, teachers, nurses, class
assistants, occupational therapy students, project supervisors and other NGO/government staff. They aim to continue
to expand their reach into rural areas of SA where it is needed most and utilize the "task shifting" model of training to
empower professionals and leaders in these communities.
