VERALL GOAL
/
MISSION
This project comes from an ongoing process to enable access to high academic studies for students with disabilities. The
college has taken upon itself to bring awareness of the importance of enabling accessibility (physical and administrative)
in all places. The goal of the project is to educate to accessibility, first at schools that surrounds this college, and later to
broaden the circle and reach further places around the county.
T
HE SOLUTION THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED
Kinneret Academic College sees great importance in providing equal access to education - to the less privileged sectors,
to the people in the periphery, to the Arab sector, to the disabled people, etc. As part of their activities, they have built
a special technological center that answers the needs of the disabled people, in which they give private assistance in
study matters. They conduct lectures to staff members on the subject of accessibilities, they have made the college
accessible, organized activities to the community and bring the students to schools to conduct lessons and activities
with young children at schools, in order to make a change that will reach all levels of the population.
