The internet - and certain software - helps special learners through not only images, text size and background color, but
by allowing them to sort out information in a way that suits them best. Many books are not user-friendly and put special
learners off reading. However, the internet and assistive technology allows individuals to personalize the way they view
information - to enlarge the script or have the text read to them. That is why specialists advocate using the internet in
the further education of special learners but unfortunately, the internet has little to offer when the special learner is
seeking further free help.
The project provides young and adult special learners in EFL with access to a free portal where they get the requisite
tools, techniques and resources they need to overcome their particular challenges will make it easier for them to
complete EFL programs. This will make them not only more efficient and autonomous, but also more employable and
reduce unemployment.
