Bocha is a Paralympic game where players try to throw a ball as close as possible to a white ball. The article describes the game at Beit Issie Shapiro school as a sports activity that, in addition to maintaining physical health, empowers students to develop normative social interactions in an enjoyable atmosphere and serves as a means to improve behavioral, motor and cognitive skills.
The lecturer describes a park whose plan is based on universal design principles that enable leisure and recreation activities for children with disabilities and parents with disabilities.
The lecture is premised on the understanding that children lead the inter-generational change regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities in society. Building inclusive play spaces provide children with opportunities to create a change.

Children with disabilities and special needs can often only dream about playing in a playground.  Park Chaverim, Israel’s first accessible and inclusive playground, Established by Beit Issie Shapiro in 2005,  gives children with disabilities an equal opportunity for recreation and fun. The playground brings children with different ability levels together to teach them how to play and have fun together while raising community awareness about the importance of inclusion.
