Friendship Park: An inclusive playground model

Sharon Yeheskel-Oron - Manager of the Global Professional Development Department, Beit Issie Shapiro

2018

Beit Issie Shapiro’s accessible and inclusive playground, Friendship Park, was selected for the Zero Project Impact Transfer Program, a unique global community and program to replicate solutions for a barrier-free world (powered by Ashoka and Essl Foundation). We are proud to have taken part in this program with nine other innovative solutions worldwide and key Zero Project stakeholders. The program provided strategic mentoring, relevant trainings, access to over 30 experts and key stakeholders in the field of disability and an opportunity to showcase our model at the high-level Zero Project Conference in Vienna in February 2018. The clip is of the pitch we presented at the Conference.
