Visits from
Around the World
Ambassadors from around the
world learn about BIS
Tremendous thanks to
Cayla Todes
and her parents
Mark
and
Lisa
, and her brother
Josh
!!
Cayla shared her Bat Mitzvah with the children of Beit Issie
Shapiro and truly made a difference!
It was important to Cayla to sponsor a child so that she could
help make sure that the child benefits from all the fantastic
programs Beit Issie Shapiro has to offer.
Over Pesach, Cayla and her family visited Beit Issie and
spent time with the children. They participated in a
drum-circle where the children have a chance to express
themselves through music. They spent time putting together
packages that Beit Issie sells to raise money.
Join Cayla and other Bar/Bat Mitzvah kids who
are looking for a meaningful, hands-on, way
to celebrate their important milestone.
Mazel Tov, Cayla! We can’t wait to
welcome you back here again soon ….
From South Africa to Korea, diplomats from
around the world are coming to Beit Issie
Shapiro to learn about our innovations and
explore opportunities for collaboration.
The honorable
Ambassador Ilsoo Kim,
of the
Embassy of the Republic of Korea
in Israel,
visited Beit Issie Shapiro, and after spending
time with the children and seeing the
technology revolution happening before his
eyes, he said,
“I am very impressed by
the work that Beit Issie Shapiro is doing ...
and it is my pleasure to make Beit Issie
Shapiro’s activities known, and to help
develop collaborations with its counterparts
in Korea. Beit Issie Shapiro is doing very
important work for people with disabilities.”
