Toronto Kicking for Kids
A record number of Torontonians attended the
Canadian Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro’s Fourth Annual
“Kicking for Kids” Soccerthon, raising $18,000 for
Beit Issie Shapiro, a tenfold increase from only three
years ago!
According to
Gilad Epstein
, CFOBIS Chair,
“Beit
Issie Shapiro represents Israel at its best. I would urge
everyone in the community to visit on your next trip to
Israel. You will receive a VIP tour and I promise that you
will come back inspired.”

The Canadian Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro
(CFOBIS) is delighted to announce a new
program to celebrate your birthday and
support sports at BIS. ECHOage is an online
birthday party service where kids get the
birthday gifts they want and
donate to charities.
Donations through ECHOage support
the Sports Therapy Program at Beit
Issie Shapiro’s Special Education
School serving 50 children ages
6-12 with severe developmental
and physical disabilities, including
Cerebral Palsy, Autism and more. The
Sports Therapy Program enables children
with disabilities to significantly improve
their motor abilities, their levels of self-
confidence, and their social skills. Plus,
sports therapy is also a great outlet for
just having fun!
