The greatest opportunity that this new capability represents is that we have ensured that this is not just a Barclays

specific solution – the App is now available for other service providers and we are working with SignVideo to promote

and encourage wider adoption to help remove the barriers the BSL user experiences in face-to-face environments.

Plans are already underway to promote this service to our large number of SME and large corporate business customers

and clients so that more people deaf people can benefit from the service.

The app is free for businesses to download and then they must just agree a contract with SignVideo based on their call

requirements (i.e. 100 minutes of interpretation a month).
