Impact Report | Pages 12-7 EMPOWERING CHILDREN TO BECOME THEIR OWN ADVOCATES Thanks to our new, innovative self- advocacy program, Adele, aged just 8, has found her voice; representing her class in the school council, and realizing her rights to self-expression, participation and independence. LAUNCHING A CENTER FOR EMOTIONAL THERAPY FOR TODDLERS Parenting a toddler with delayed or developmental difficulties brings confusion, worry, and stress affecting the child’s ability to absorb therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions. The new center provides toddlers, parents, grandparents and siblings with critical emotional support that creates a sense of stability and security allowing for development and growth.
